I love passion, sensuality and the written word. While at times my work can be dark, beneath it all lies the inherent human need of physical contact, from romantic love and playful lust, to the dark hungers that, left unchecked, can tear people apart. I have been writing for almost 20 years.

My goal for you, my reader, is to offer an escape, a journey through these dark passageways where you can lose yourself for a little while, not distracted by the words themselves, but fully immersed in the adventures of another.

I hope you enjoy your visit, and will return often.

Felicity Johns is a small-town Southern girl with a passion for the written word. She was home-schooled and a voracious reader. She began writing in her late teens, and wrote poetry prolifically for almost a decade, with the high point being a win and publication of one of her works in a national anthology.

Shortly afterward, she abandoned writing to pursue other interests, including travel and horseback riding. In 2010, she signed on with Demand Media Studios and wrote web content with some success. She remained with them for two years, before burning out, but produced 900 published articles.

She built and launched The Dark Night Chronicles in late September of 2014, and is enjoying blogging and connecting with people around the world.

You can read An Interview by my Peers, and Interview with the Writer to learn a bit more about Felicity.

    1. I’m not sure which image you’re referring to, William, but I am the artist behind most of the artwork here, unless it states otherwise. I did the background design of the rearing horse, as well.

      Thank you very much! πŸ™‚

  2. Great blog! I have enjoyed looking around and skipping across to read some of your poems and short stories at Pressbooks (Erotic Passages). I’ll make some time to explore further. I hope you’ll take a look around Obsessions of Lemon and Ginger too. You might be interested in looking at When Pleasure Blooms and the associated blog too. That gives away the not-so-secret identity of either Auridius or Penelope. πŸ™‚

  3. Thanks for the follow! I totally agree with you about the inherent need for physical contact. It shows up in all my work, from the soft and gentle to the near-violence two people who are connected by love, lust, passion and shared goals (that’s very important, to me) can have. I have had a quick peek through your blog and I am looking forward to more.

      1. I am having problems with people being able to comment. It doesn’t matter what I do to the settings bunches of people tell me they have problems. It’s starting to piss me off, frankly. I’m glad you enjoyed the post! So many people have told me how creepy the shots are (*evil cackle*). I think they came out rather well, considering how they were taken. lol
